(Waterfalls in Yosemite National Park California)
This piece was about…value but more so color.
The darker/warmer objects come at you,
while the cooler lighter cliff face sits behind.
Beyond that the mountain practically
disappears into the sky.
There is
a lot of texture going on here as well in the foreground rocks,
but it is the
subtle color variation that keeps that area from getting boring.
Yes it’s true…I like this piece more now, than when I first
painted it.
