This piece was about…color. The yellow hazy sky dictates that the rest 

of the painting be keyed in yellow.  

The grey beach sand is broken up with subtle color shifts, 

so that it doesn’t get too flat looking.

Yes it’s true…this is a rare piece of mine that is done on canvas, instead of panel.
